Westin Dragonara celebrates customer service week

A week full of fun and activities for all associates was organised at The Westin Dragonara Resort during October. Starwood Hotels and Resorts worldwide with all its different brands (Sheraton, Elements, Four Points by Sheraton, Luxury Collections, Saint Regis, Westin, Aloft, Le Meridien and W Hotels) celebrated the period of "Customer Service Week" coherently.

The slogan chosen for this year was One Team, One Journey. The aim of this week was to show appreciation to associates for the excellent service that they deliver to each and every guest throughout the year and recognise their efforts and enhance the commitment.

Joe Galea, Heart of Hours concierge, together with the human resources department planned a week of activities which included a Sudoku championship, tennis tournament, basketball games and also a quiz relating to the history of The Westin Dragonara Resort. During this week the associates of the quarter were also awarded for going the extra mile in their day to day operation.

The winners were all rewarded during the communications meeting that the hotel management organises on a quarterly basis.

The associates' canteen also offered a varied menu on each day of the week ranging from Maltese to Oriental and from pizza to pasta delicious dishes. Customer service week came to an end on Friday evening where after a meeting with all associates, general manager Michael Kamsky accompanied all associates to a delicious buffet to commemorate the event.

The One Team, One Journey slogan is applied at all Starwood Hotels and Resorts worldwide to continually emphasises the importance of associates in each and every property.
