Another new ATM introduced by BOV

Bank of Valletta has just installed another model of its most technologically-advanced ATM models in its Republic Street Branch in Valletta. The machine will enable customers and businesses deposit cash and cheques in less time than before. This ATM follows the successful installation of a similar ATM last month at BOV's head office.

The new ATM is equipped with the latest technology, accepting cash and cheques online without the need of an envelope. Cash deposited is credited to the chosen account immediately, while cheques deposited will be credited within a very short time.

The new ATM can handle up to €100 notes of mixed denominations at any one time, again without the need of an envelope. Moreover, the machine will provide customers with a receipt of their deposit. The new ATM will be available during office hours and will be offering a 24x7 service in due course.

In the near future the bank will also be introducing ATMs that can handle batch processing of deposits, further streamlining the deposit procedure.
