On Friday, October 31, a concert of sacred music for choir, organ and orchestra was organised on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the foundation of the St Paul Choral Society in collaboration with the St John's Co-Cathedral Foundation in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund under the distinguished patronage of the President and Mrs Fenech Adami.

The 900-strong congregation was treated to pieces by Handel, Bach, Mozart , John Stainer, Mgr Carmelo Scerri, John Rutter, Sir Hubert Parry and Charles Villiers Stanford. Directed by Hugo Agius Muscat, the members of the St Paul Choral Society together with Elizabeth Conrad, organist, Sarah Spiteri, orchestra leader, soprano Rosabelle Bianchi, mezzo soprano Claire Massa, tenor Charles Vincenti and bass Albert Buttigieg all contributed to a memorable evening of celebration and thanksgiving that was the culmination of many hours of hard and dedicated practice.

Thank you and well done.
