Serie A results: Inter leave it late

Substitute Julio Cruz headed home in stoppage time to give Inter a 1-0 win over Udinese on Sunday and send the Serie A champions top for at least a few hours.

AC Milan, two points behind Inter, can reclaim the lead by winning at Lecce in the late game. Second-placed Napoli beat Sampdoria 2-0 to lie a point above Milan and Lazio, who defeated Siena 3-0 at home thanks to a brace by Tommaso Rocchi and Mauro Zarate's goal. Alessandro Del Piero celebrated his 34th birthday by scoring a third free kick in a week to help Juventus to a 2-0 win at Chievo which put the Turin club level with Udinese on 21 points.
