Archbishop visits Fino

Archbishop Paul Cremona, recently paid a visit to the Fino premises in Mrieħel. The Archbishop celebrated Mass to mark 35 years of monthly Masses held at Fino.

He was assisted by Fr Norbert Bonavia, Fr Victor Spiteri, Fr Joe Zammit and parish priest Joe Saliba.

After Mass, Fino chairman Joseph Zahra presented the archbishop with a €1,000 cheque for charity.

Two of the special guests who attended the ceremony were Rev. Master General Catherine Seychell and Sr Margherita Borg, who has been organising the Masses for the last 35 years. Later, Mgr Cremona was taken on a tour round the Fino showroom and the manufacturing plant by Fino directors Jean Carlo Fino and Ruth Farrugia. The archbishop then blessed the company's new head office.
