• Nadur council activities kick off today at 10.30 a.m. with the inauguration of a photo exhibition displaying works by Martin Attard, Anthony Cassar, Sam Portelli and Anthony Said at the Joe Tabone Hall. The exhibition remains open until November 30.

• Nadur celebrates St Coronato's feast today with Mass at 8.30 a.m. at St Peter and St Paul's Basilica, followed by a march by the Mnarja Band.

• Remembrance Day will be commemorated today at 10.30 a.m. at Independence Square, Victoria. The ceremony starts with a guard of honour and includes Bible readings and prayers. It ends with the laying of wreaths at the war monument.

• Iron Man will be screened today at 5.30 p.m. at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria.

• A books and religious items fair by Preca Library will be held at the Sacred Heart Seminary, Victoria, today between 8.30 a.m. and noon, and from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

• An art exhibition by Sonja Sinclair Stevenson Lindblad in aid of the Friends of the Sick and Elderly is open at the Sinclair Stevenson Art Gallery, 59 Trux Street, Għarb. The exhibition features photographs on aluminium by Hans Joachim von Budingen and sculptures by Johannes Dorflinger. Viewing can be arranged by appointment until November 30 or by calling 2156 2074 or e-mailing sonjassli@waldonet.net.mt.

• People can donate blood on Sunday between 9 a.m. and noon at the Joe Tabone Hall in Nadur. A show by the Gozo Civil Protection Department will take place between 10 a.m. and 11.30 a.m. at 28th April 1688 Square. Military and classic cars will be on display between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. at St Peter and St Paul square. A sports day will be held from 3 p.m. onwards for Nadur children at the MUSEUM boys football ground.

• A fundraising tea tombola party will be held on Saturday from 7.30 p.m. onwards at Munxar parish hall. Tickets can be obtained at the door.

• The St Joseph Band Club of Għajnsielem is organising a blood donation marathon at its premises on December 6 as part of Għajnsielem Week. The event is being held in collaboration with the Malta National Blood Transfusion and the Red Cross (Gozo branch). For reservations, SMS your name to 9945 9426 or call committee members.
