Business delegation heads for Portugal

Malta Enterprise and Banif Bank (Malta) have signed a co-operation agreement on the business delegation that will accompany President Eddie Fenech Adami during his state visit to Portugal from Tuesday to Thursday.

Malta Enterprise and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, supported by Banif Bank (Malta plc), will be leading 30 business delegates to Porto and Lisbon to discuss export and import, technology transfer, joint ventures and other business opportunities with Portuguese firms. Many have been identified by Banif SGPS and the Commercial Associations in Porto and Lisbon.

Banif Bank (Malta) will take an active role as the main link between the business delegates of both countries. Banif SGPS is one of the leading financial institutions in Portugal with over 500 branches around the Iberian peninsula.

Banif Financial Group is present in 14 countries and employs around 5,000 people.
