Two persons have been reported missing, the police said.

They are Carmel Bugeja, 40 of Siggiewi, and Charlene Farrugia, 25 of Qawra.

He is 5ft 7 inches tall with black hair and brown eyes, the police said.

Ms Farrugia is 5ft 3 inches tall with brown shoulder-length hair. She was last seen wearing a black top, blue jeans and white jogging shoes.

Anybody knowing their whereabouts is asked to phone in confidence on 119.
