New imaging products and solutions for enterprises

HP has announced new imaging and printing devices, supplies and solutions to give enterprise customers greater options to boost productivity, security and environmental sustainability.

The company has added five new enterprise solutions focused on customers in the healthcare, public sector, automotive and financial services industries. It also introduced three imaging and printing solutions in the form of software and printers.

HP also announced its Adaptive Infrastructure in a Box for Midsize Businesses, which enables businesses with 100 to 999 employees to lower technology costs, increase operational efficiency and reduce unplanned downtime.

This suite of products and services encompasses servers, storage, management, automation, power and cooling technologies, virtualisation and security.

The company said the suite minimises the burden on IT administrators, reducing the total cost of a technology infrastructure by as much as 31 per cent over a conventional infrastructure by lowering acquisition and administration costs. It also reduces unplanned downtime with optimised backup and recovery, offers improved security for server environment, system management and network access as well as enhanced data encryption. It is also environmentally-friendly as it reduces required resources by eliminating multiple physical assets and delivering an energy-efficient design.
