Government pharmacies to open late
Government pharmacies are to open an hour late as from Monday following a directive issued to pharmacists, the UHM said today.
It said the directive was issued because the authorities had not yet submitted their proposals for a revision of the agreement governing the state-employed pharmacists.

The way this has been worded that 'they are opening an hour late' I thought that they are trying to improve this service and were actually opening another hour, and not an hour less.
We could do without these stupid interruptions in an already poor service where one had to wait for over an hour to be served, or are we now going to claim that this will be in the interests of the patients!

Once again Gejtu Vella has taken over the Health Service. Shame on UHM.
Think of the old-folk before you decide on such drastic actions.
The irony of it all is, that this man is the advocate of `Let us sit around the table and sort it out`, hollow words.

@ UHM - If the authorities require something from the pharmacy, they just walk in and take it. Your directive will only burden us citizens. It is about time you sit down and think a little about your directives. It is useless opening your front door with your car key, it would simply not open. Apart from the fact that you will not gain popular solidarity by burdening the people instead of the authorities.
