Del Piero double sinks Real
Alessandro Del Piero scored two stunning goals to give Juventus a 2-0 win at Real Madrid on Wednesday and put the Italians through to the Champions League knockout stage.
The World Cup-winning striker grabbed the opener in the 2-1 win over Real in Turin two weeks ago and repeated the feat after 17 minutes at the Bernabeu, crashing a left-foot shot past Iker Casillas as the defence backed off.
Del Piero's second came from a direct free kick on 67 minutes which he whipped past the wall into the left-hand corner with Casillas rooted to the spot.
With four matches played, Juve top Group H on 10 points with Real second on six.

Our Captain Del Peiro gave us great satisfaction yesterday!!!
As said by Patrick before me, he gets better as more time passes. This was also acknowledged by the Real Madrid supporters at the end of the match.
Forza Juve, Grande il nostro Capitanao !!

Following the standing ovation at the Old Trafford, Del Piero was again granted a standing ovation, this time at the Bernabeu. Fans of teams from all over Europe acknowledge the greatness of this footballer - the guys who vote for the Golden Ball Award and the FIFA World Player award, have never acknowledged this in 15 years of magic.
