A 30-year-old lab technician yesterday pleaded guilty to defiling a 15-year-old school girl after chatting her up online.

The man from Paola was given a two-year jail term suspended for three years after admitting to defiling the girl around last July in Ħamrun.

Police Inspector Louise Calleja prosecuted. Lawyer Anġlu Farrugia was defence counsel.
