I recently attended the opening of an art exhibition by Ray Zammit at the Razzett tal-Markiż Mallia Tabone in Mosta, organised by Għaqda Filantropika Talent Mosti.

Notwithstanding the fact that I was rather jetlagged, having landed from an overseas trip just a few hours before, I could not but admire both the artist's work and the location in which it was housed.

My curiosity was aroused, such that I returned a few days later, when I could calmly review again both the Razzett and the exhibition, this time in a more alert state. I loved it. Reading through the society's 25th anniversary publication, kindly donated by their president Joe Bartolo, I could not but be impressed by the amount of work undertaken since its inauguration in 1983. Għaqda Filantropika Talent Mosti can only be commended and deserves a hearty well done and encouragement for future work.
