Melita is adding local boxing to its list of local sports coverage.

The company said it had reached an agreement with The Boxing Arena promoters for the exclusive rights to broadcast the first edition of the Malta Belt Championship Challenge on Melita Sports 2, next Friday at 8:00pm.

The Malta Belt Championship Challenge, which took place at SKY Club in Paceville, had a line up of 20 boxers, categorised as amateurs and professionals.
