Gozo buses to be made eco-friendly

The public transport service in Gozo is being overhauled to ensure an eco-friendly fleet.

There will be a rebuilding of part of the road that from Xlendi leads to Ta' Pinu Sanctuary. At the same time, work will continue on the Mġarr-Victoria road.

A new radiology section and a second state-of-the-art operating theatre will be set up at the Gozo General Hospital.

The garden at Villa Rundle will be rehabilitated.

In its pre-budget document, the government said it would work to improve incentives to attract investment in Gozo and to identify and transfer more public and private sector back office operations.
