Unfortunately, the world does not have the proper technology yet to hone the energy of the sun. Solar Panel heaters? Thats another scam, believe me. If Solar power were a viable resource, then we'd be investing in it heavilly.
Several problems to solar power, are the massive cost to get a solar panel, lack of sun when you need it the most, and current technology cannot utilise it properly. Very little energy is received and to get in proper amounts of energy, requires massive amounts of space to be taken up.
Wind turbines, again, need wind, are somewaht costly, and require lots of space to produce a fairly little amount of power. But wind turbines are the closest thing to a renewable resource we can actually utilize.
Maybe the government could help develop mini-turbines for everyone's household. I've seen videos of these mini-turbines. For example,. one was used to power a guys garage door. But yeah, thats probably all it can provide power for unfortunately. One per household would reduce the consumption power stations.
Lets see if the world can discover a new power source soon.
It will be automatically removed as you will have to get rid of your television because you will not be able to afford the new electricity and water tariffs which the MINORITY Gonzipn Government Minister was ashamed of reading during his budget speech.
i THINK IF IS MY RIGHT TO KNOW HOW TARIFFS ARE GOING TO BE WORKED OUT ESPE CIALLY SINCE THEY ARE BACKDATED TO 1ST OCTOBER. iS THE JUST GOING TO BE A NEW YEARS PRESENT
Pity!
I, for one, am watching over my expenses, dreading the day when I will receive the water and electricity bill, which as Mins Tonio Fenech pointed out, has to be paid.
(And it is not only for my bill that I am going to pay. Last week my son's church school has urged parents' to 'help' and give a higher donation in view of the rise of the water and electricity bills!)
