St John's Garage yesterday celebrated its 50th anniversary by planting 50 trees near Għar Lapsi, in an activity attended by Rural Affairs Minister George Pullicino. The company agreed with Mr Pullicino's suggestion that it should try to become the first carbon neutral transport company in Malta.

More discussions between the company and the ministry are to be held in the coming days to draw up a formula which would establish the number of trees to be planted.
