Counterfeit DVDs seized
Police seized 600 DVDs after a raid on the Valletta open-air market yesterday morning. The DVDs are thought to have been copied illegally.
A number of people were taken in by police for questioning. The raid was carried out by the Economic Crimes Unit.

Again.... again and again! This is getting so pathetic! I really cannot fathom why there no harsh punishments are given to those caught with copied stuff? Oh please, come on, they should be turned in, and that's all! Only that way they MIGHT learn.
Police know where to find them, they know who they are, so just get them and have them in! Usually they always turn out to be the same people, of course! If the punishment they get is just a mere fine, then it is fruitful to keep on doing it! They certainly make more ILLEGAL money than the pathetic amount they have to pay.
And to enforce punishments on those selling counterfeited stuff is simply not enough. They have to punish those getting the ILLEGAL stuff too!!
This is simple balderdash… they can’t keep on acting like this. Police must start acting right; they know where to find the morons, so why don’t just go get them?
