Edgar P. Dalmas receives a travel voucher for one person to a three-night tour to Linz, Austria, from Mondial representative Irene Vassallo. Mr Dalmas, the winner of the Word Target series that ended on September 13, said he has been taking part in the competition since it was launched. In fact, the retired senior civil servant had won a trip to Northern Italy some years back.

"Even if it is just to enhance your vocabulary, participating is rewarding whether one wins or not," Mr Dalmas said. The answers to the series were rheumatic, custodial, archangel, stovepipe, elsewhere and lambswool.

Reference is made to the" Word Target Series" which ended on Sept.13, with special emphasy on the word LAMBSWOOL. I found that word and when I consulted the Chambers Dictionary, page939, I found it is written like this "LAMB'S-WOOL". In the instructions just below the 9 letters Word Game, we find that there should not be any HYPHENATED words. So I didn't send the solution. I beleive that the same happened in one of the words in the Word Target series ending on 25 October.
