Refunding efficiency

The Malta Resources Authority has received 45,000 applications to refund those who purchased energy-efficient appliances.

Of these, 35,000 have been processed and remunerated while the remainder are being processed, the Ministry for Resources said yesterday.

The Labour Party had earlier pointed out that a number of people had still not been refunded, albeit receiving an acknowledgement to their applications in July.

Furthermore, the party said, those who had applied for subsidies on solar water heaters had not received any feedback.

Thats an outright lie by the MLP. I received Lm150 in a matter of a few weeks as subsidy on the water meter and the solar water heater. MLP, please get your facts right before you throw mud all over the place.
