New University Ombudsman

Charles Farrugia will be taking over as University Ombudsman from Victor Griffiths.

The Parliamentary Ombudsman will be appointing Prof. Farrugia tomorrow for a five-year term. His duty is to investigate and report on complaints by students, academic staff or employees on matters relating to the University as well as grievances by those refused entry into the University. Complainants who have exhausted this remedy can still forward their complaint to the Parliamentary Ombudsman.
