Following the successful staging of Notte Bianca, Camilleri Wines is still savouring the sweet after-taste of a positive experience.

"Deciding to participate at Notte Bianca was a well-taken and rewarding decision. Logistically it was a demanding project due to the venue and the occasion but we worked very hardto be fully prepared," explains Claudio Camilleri, head of sales and marketing at Camilleri Wines.

"The most important thing during such an event is teamwork. We were 20 people in all, and only this fact has enabled us to go through such an event. This ensured that both our stand and the special outlet set up inside the building of the Valletta Market worked in synch," Mr Camilleri said.

During Notte Bianca, Camilleri Wines was present with all its range of locally grown wines namely Laurenti, PianoForte, Dolce Vita, Palatino, gwl, Blush and La Croce.

"At such events, it is very tempting to view these occasions purely as an opportunity for sales. However we have developed a way of thinking that goes beyond a cash-and-carry mentality. We weren't there as just another attraction or an item on the programme. We sought to deliver value both to the actual event and even to us on a marketing level and this decision paid off very well."

Notte Bianca was an opportunity to sample the Palatino Limited Release Viognier and Cabernet Franc which Camilleri Wines will be officially presenting in a few weeks time.

"We had extremely good comments about these two additions to our Palatino range of which 10,700 bottles of Palatino Viognier have been produced and of which 6,800 bottles of Palatino Cabernet Franc will be available," Mr Camilleri added.
