Air strike near oil tanks

A rebel Tamil Tiger aircraft dropped bombs near oil storage tanks in the Sri Lankan capital yesterday after another raid 250 kilometres north targeting a military base, military sources said.

"The aircraft dropped bombs in Colombo near the oil storage tanks," a military source said on condition of anonymity. Another source confirmed it and said it was under investigation.
