Eco refund applications reach 45,000
A total of 45,000 applications for a state refund on energy efficient appliances have been received by the Malta Resources Authority.
The Resources Ministry said that 35,000 of the applications were processed and paid.
It said it was positive that more people were making choices in favour of the environment and the Labour Party should support the government when it took such measures.

How many of those 35,000 are paid CORRECTLY? I received half of the amount I was owed - and I was not the only person I know who had this happen to them. The cheque I then received from the MRA to give me the correct amount was the same cheque completely scribbled out .... I'm assuming this is to forgo a contra entry in the accounting system. I think this is a bit suspicious ...

It's unbelievable how these opposition supporters keep commenting negatively at every opportunity that arises without offering any constructive critisism. I have a question for them:
What was the amount of eco refund you received from the Sant administration in 1997 when the excessive electricity tarrifs were introduced although the price of oil was only 12$ a barrel?

I have been waiting for mine since May. Perhaps they are borrowing it from me to help with the government cash flow ????
