I refer to my article entitled The Open-Top Buses Saga (October 23) and would like to clarify that the Garden of Eden did not tender for the introduction of a scheduled service using open-top buses but requested permission from the ADT to operate open-top buses on unscheduled services. Once the ADT refused this request they referred the matter to the Commission for Fair Trading - the rest is history.
