WasteServ Malta Ltd would like to assure the public that contractors defaulting from their responsibilities of collecting recyclables from households are being fined and are having their contracts suspended.

WasteServ, in fact, would like to appeal to the public to help identify defaulting contractors so that disciplinary action can be taken against them.

WasteServ is asking the public to report in real-time to WasteServ on Freephone number 8007 2200, stating name of locality, street and number plate of the truck in question.

WasteServ has invested heavily in raising awareness on the benefits of recycling and it will not let this popular and successful initiative be undermined by any defaulting third parties in the system. Huge improvements have been made in the past couple of years and the company would like to thank the public for believing in recycling and in helping the environment, which is after all the ultimate aim of all this effort.
