The British Culture Association has launched a new website that coincides with the celebration of the association's 30th anniversary.

The website, accessible at www.bcamalta.org, provides information on the myriad of activities organised by the BCA which aims to foster British culture in Malta and consolidate the friendship between the two nations.

The BCA was founded in 1979 to fill in part of the gap produced that year by the closing down of the British Council office in Malta.

In 1989 and 1994 the BCA held special activities to celebrate its 20th and 25th anniversaries respectively. As its 30th anniversary begins to draw near, the BCA has a new website and under its young chair, Claire Thake Vassallo, is also seeking more young partners who will help it keep up its cultural mission in the years to come. The website will support this endeavour.
