Casual election for Karl Chircop's seat

The Electoral Commission said today it will receive nominations between next Saturday and Wednesday, October 29, for the casual election to fill the parliamentary seat vacated by the late Karl Chircop.

Dr Chircop was elected from the fourth electoral district.

Three candidates are eligible for the election: former minister Joe Brincat and first-time election candidates Gino Cauchi and Sebastian Muscat.
