CAMILLERI. On October 20, LAWRENCE of Camilleri Marine, Gżira, aged 53, passed away suddenly in Tunisia. He leaves to mourn his loss his wife Luella, née Pellegrini, his sons Kenneth, Robert and girlfriend Krista, relatives and friends. Funeral arrangements will be announced at a later stage.
STORACE. On October 18, PAUL of Canada, aged 81, surrounded by his family. Mourned by his wife Annie, his children Joanne, Martin, Anita and Paul, their families, grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his family in Ħamrun, Floriana and Canada where he lived for the past 57 years. Interment takes place today in Canada.

Solidarity gathering
Three organisations will be holding a public gathering today to support Joanne Cassar, a transsexual undergoing legal proceedings insisting that, in accordance with the European Convention of Human Rights, of which Malta is a signatory, she should have the right to marry.
The Malta Gay Rights Movement, Forum Żgħażagħ Laburisti and Alternattiva Demokratika Żgħażagħ will be meeting in front of the law courts at 9 a.m.
Dubai travel deal
Emirates, the Dubai-based international airline, yesterday launched a two-for-one deal for Maltese customers interested in visiting Dubai.
The offer, which runs until the end of November, allows two persons travelling together to Dubai to pay for just one ticket, while the second person travels free, excluding taxes.
Booking is open until November 30 for travel between November 1 and December 31. The offer is valid for all passengers travelling in all three classes and tickets.
