Three candidates for EP casual election
Next Friday's casual election to fill Joseph Muscat's old seat in the European Parliament is to be contested by Glenn Bedingfield, Robert Micallef and Wenzu Mintoff.
Mr Micallef and Dr Mintoff submitted their nomination papers today, which was the last day for nominations.
Joe Debono Grech and Owen Bonnici, who could also have stood as candidates for the election, opted not to do so. Both are serving in the Maltese Parliament.
The new MEP will serve until the forthcoming European Parliament elections in June.

Judging by the results of the last MEP election, your contenders need all the luck they can gather !!!!

They don't need the luck. The votes have been there for four years, they're not gonna change by luck.
