Seventy-four people were reported missing between 1970 and the end of last month.

Home Affairs Minister Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici said in Parliament yesterday that 52 of the missing persons were foreigners and the remaining 22 Maltese.

The greatest number of missing people was in 2004: 16 foreigners.
