Hunters' federation expels member
The hunters' federation, FKNK, has expelled a member whom the courts found guilty of a serious breach of hunting rules.
This was the first time the FKNK made such a decision public, in keeping with a council policy adopted on Tuesday of publicising such decisions which, to date, used to be kept internal.
The federation has communicated the decision to the Police Commissioner, but it has not made the name of the expelled member public.
This was not the first time an FKNK member was expelled from the federation.
Federation secretary Lino Farrugia said the council's decision was taken in the light of various instances that had recently been played up as a direct attack on all forms of hunting and trapping.

law abiding hunters should be happy, that this poacher was caught, but not one comment.....
Like we don't know this hunter will just join another group anyway, ....

If FKNK wants to be credible then they should do this much more frequently, and publish names.
To make such an announcement because of negative publicity, shows why FKNK cannot be trusted.

Dear Joseph, I think you may have a problem at comprehending written words...
It was very simple really...but for your benefit, I shall repeat...
It is unfair for the member to be banned, when the person who backed the banning, Lino Farrugia, was also fined in a court of law for illegalities ...Shouldn't he have been banned to?
Read it again...told you it was simple.
As for parking and drink driving...How you can you state that one case is more serious than the other?
Do you know what the hunter was charged with, and if it was more serious than the Farrugia incident?
As for Idioms...well...you got that wrong as well...Pot calling the kettle black is perfectly usable here, when you have someone guilty of illegalities condemning someone else...
Ok..you can also use the first stone incident...it fits for Lino Farrugia as well. Prosit!

"POT KETTLE AND BLACK"
When you post idioms, please make sure that you know what they stand for.
The pot calling the kettle black is when you point to another person and accuse that person of doing something that you are guilty of doing yourself.
I am sure that Mr Lino Farrugia was never found guilty of any of the accuses that this expelled poacher was found of. And I am sure you know what this expelled poacher was arrainged for.

Seeing your past comments, I never thought that you would side this poacher "unfair on the member ".
But this shows how much you want to abolish hunting. Since you and Birdlife co.. want birds' blood to be shed and need persons like this poacher to continue to hunt, so that you'll have fuel for your campaign against hunting.
I bet if you were living 2000 years ago you would have thrown that stone ( Let the one without sin cast the first stone ). So, for example, anybody who was fined for incorrect parking doesn't have the right to comment on drunken drivers driving recklessly whilst putting other innocent people's life at risk??
Than I am sure that you have scapegoated more than once...

LOL, Lino Farrugia commenting. From his comment it seems that the decision was taken grudgingly because of all the negative publicity. This is the problem, it seems that they don't think it is wrong. If they did, Lino wouldn't be in a position to comment as he would have been booted out also for his conviction. The words "POT KETTLE AND BLACK" spring to mind.

Very unfair on the member concerned....
I mean to be expelled by the federation, and then having another person who not too long ago was fined for illegalities commenting about the case!
Talk about scapegoats.
