An international panel of academics, researchers and experts from 22 countries will present the latest developments in the fields of fire resistance, earthquake, impact and explosion resistance as well as risk assessment for catastrophic scenarios in urban habitats at an international symposium entitled 'Urban Habitat Constructions under Catastrophic Events' being being organised by the University's Department of Building and Civil Engineering between Thursday and Saturday at the Aula Magna, Old University Building, Valletta.
