This year half the money collected from Voices will go towards a special project - Caritas' learning centre within San Blas. Those taking part in this programme will be given the opportunity to learn subjects such as IT, music and the arts.
The theme for Voices this year was youth, with 'Tell me why'. The song by the same name was sung by four children - Sarah Pace, Sarah Papagiorcopolo, Jonathan Schembri and Yazmin Helledie - on different nights.
In the same spirit of Voices, Playmobil (Malta) has decided to donate toy sets to these young soloists. The Voices committee, together with Anna Agius, marketing and sales manager, Playmobil, felt that these young people deserved a token of appreciation for their efforts.
Voices, sponsored by the Vodafone Malta Foundation, was held at the Mediterranean Conference Centre in Valletta.
