For the third consecutive year, Lions Club Mdina recently organised a Maltese night at the Prime Minister's official summer residence, the Inquisitor's Palace, in Girgenti.

The well attended event was held under the patronage of Prime Minister Lawrence Gonzi and Mrs Gonzi. The superb setting of the historic palace, the clear evening skies and the sumptuous dinner made the event a memorable one.

A live band by the Armed Forces of Malta entertained the guests.

Proceeds from the sale of tickets and other activities held during the event are in aid of the Richmond Foundation, an NGO that provides community rehabilitation and support services to people with mental health problems.
