The staff and partners of Attard Giglio and Co. recently spent a day helping children and nuns at the Fra Diego home in Ħamrun.

They spent the day carrying out essential maintenance work, including whitewashing rooms, painting tables, tidying the gardens and cleaning up the grounds of rubble and furniture.

Anthony Attard, managing partner at Attard Giglio and Co., said that although the day was physically tiring, the group felt a deep sense of satisfaction that their efforts contributed, even if in a very small way, to improve the environment the children lived in.

"I strongly encourage more firms to take on similar worthwhile initiatives for the benefit of our community," he added.
