In the UK, the markets will look closely at the minutes of the October Bank of England Monetary Policy committee meeting. On the data front, the UK CBI October Quarterly Industrial Trends will provide market participants with a detailed analysis on the key industrial sectors of the British economy. The Gross Domestic Product (GDP), which is expected to come at 0.5 per cent during the third quarter is also due this week. Market participants will have the public finances figures along with the M4 money supply for September this week.

In the US, markets will get hold of a few important releases next week. The main focus in the US will be the release of the index of leading indicators which is an economic index intended to estimate future economic activity in the US. Meanwhile, markets will also monitor evolvements within the housing market. The MBA mortgage applications, a current indicator of the US housing market that gauges demand for mortgages applications, is due next week. Existing home sales figures during September and house price index for August are also out. Meanwhile, the market will also take a view of the labour market through the release of the initial jobless claims and continuing claims. The weekly index of the ABC consumer confidence survey will complete the economic release schedule.

On the other side of the Atlantic, market participants will delve into the area-wide manufacturing and services Purchasing Manager Index (PMI). Eurozone industrial new orders will provide market participants with a view on the real economic activity during August. The release of the eurozone current account figures for August will close the week's data schedule in Europe.
