The Speaker, Louis Galea, the Prime Minister and the Nationalist parliamentary group this morning signed the book of condolence for Karl Chircop at Labour Party headquarters.

The Speaker was the first to call at Blata l-Bajda. He was greeted by MLP general secretary Jason Micallef and made a few comments in which he praised Dr Chircop for his values and for his dedication as a politician and a medical doctor.

Dr Chircop's funeral will be held tomorrow morning. The funeral will stop briefly outside MLP headquarters at 9.15 a.m. before proceeding to Corradino Hill from where a cortege will start to Christ the King parish church, where Mass will be said at 10 a.m.
