Representatives of Suzuki BV Nimag are in Malta together with 45 boat dealers to test three outboard marine engines on three new locally-manufactured boat models.

The second generation four-stroke outboards incorporate the latest environment-friendly technology. The event will be held today at Portomaso Marina with the aim of introducing the export of leisure boats to the Netherlands. This is the first time such an event is being held in Malta, a spokesman for the promoters said.

Suzuki BV Nimag are the exclusive distributors for the Netherlands of Suzuki marine engines, made in Japan.
