Melita surpasses 50,000 internet subscriptions

Melita's cable internet service recently surpassed the 50,000 subscription. Over the last few weeks, Melita continued to register a strong demand for its high-speed broadband internet service.

The Vassallo family of Siġġiewi have been identified as Melita's 50,001 cable internet customer. To celebrate the ever-growing internet clientele, Melita has upgraded the family's connection to 30 Mbits per second. For the next six months the family can enjoy the fastest internet experience currently available in Malta and Gozo for free.

"Melita's robust super-fast internet service has been attracting a lot of interest from internet users. Our unique 30 Mbit internet connection has catapulted Melita to the forefront of internet service providers in Malta. Melita's internet and connectivity platform is currently being enhanced following an investment of €10 million in a new state-of-the-art fibre optic submarine cable connecting Malta to the rest of the world.
