Misco recently finalised the 2008/2009 issue of the Salaries and Benefits Report. This report is compiled with the aim of providing senior management with information about the different remuneration packages paid to managerial, executive and other salaried staff in the Maltese islands.
Compiled over a nine-month period, spanning from January to September 2008, the Salaries and Benefits Report focuses on the salaries and benefits offered in the service and manufacturing organisations. It distinguishes between local private, local government and foreign-owned companies and between companies of different size. This segmentation of information gives industry a better idea of remuneration offered locally, thus permitting a more accurate positioning of the organisation within the market.
Based on quality research and extensive knowledge acquired through Misco's involvement in human resources consultancy, the report provides a reliable, realistic and up-to-date picture of what companies are paying to recruit new employees or retain their present staff.
