Mourinho shadow hangs over Mancini say lawyers

Roberto Mancini is being driven out of Milan by the shadow of his successor as Inter coach, Jose Mourinho, his lawyers said.

"He is forced to suffer the direct comparison with the new management," Mancini's lawyers were quoted as saying on daily Il Giornale's website.

"This unsustainable situation has created the urgent need for Roberto Mancini to move from Milan to a destination yet to be established."

Mancini is suing Il Giornale for damages for publishing wiretaps from a drugs probe involving a person known to Mancini, even though there was never any suggestion the former Lazio and Sampdoria striker had done anything wrong.
