Over 1,600 are registered members with Nestlè Malta's Mio Mummy and Baby Club - a club for parents of newborns to three-year-olds. The club was started by a growing number of parents who wanted to have a reference point that supplied them with reliable information and who wanted to become more knowledgeable about many aspects that concern the everyday development of their babies throughout the various stages of growth.

The club's quarterly newsletter is now in its seventh year, and offers useful and well-researched information on health and nutritional aspects for parent and child, which includes healthy eating and practical eating plans for the new mother, benefits of breastfeeding, allergies, introducing your baby to solid foods and vaccines, together with news, competitions, promotions and activities.

A Mio Club application card may be collected from supermarkets, stores and waiting areas in clinics and pharmacies. This can then be filled and returned to Nestlé Malta. Applicants will receive a Mio Club member ID card, a Mio - All you need to know guidebook, and will be entitled to a Mio starter pack, collected from Nestlé in Lija. Members are also urged to make use of the free professional advice system that the club offers at nutrition.support@mt.nestle.com. Any queries related to the young family or infant sent to this e-mail will be tackled by a Nestlé consultant nutritionist, psychologist or pharmacist free of charge.
