And the winner is ...

The Monopoly game-box cover has been chosen! Out of the three options - The Valletta Waterfront, the Mnajdra Temples and the Malta Cross on a flag - the public, voting by e-mail or text message, opted for the Mnajdra Temples to feature on the front of the first ever national board game.

Monopoly Malta will feature 22 Maltese localities and four ports while the Community Chest and Chance Cards will feature a few instances extracted from Maltese traditions. Although the official launch of Monopoly Malta has not yet been set, it should take place in the coming weeks.

What better choice then the one photo which represents the time when the Maltese society was at it's peak! ..On a serious note the Maltese version of Monopoly is an astounding idea! I hope that the same could be done with Scrabble someday.
