Tigers held to a draw
Xewkija Tigers were surprisingly held to a draw by Għarb Rangers despite the promotion favourites holding territorial supremacy for most of the match. Rangers produced a fine performance and could have stole all points in the end but D. Matthias hit wide with an open goal at his mercy.
In another match, leaders Żebbuġ Rovers conceded the first goal in the GFA Div. Two campaign and were also held to a draw by Munxar Falcons.
The Rovers opened the score through Basil Chibueze on the hour but the Falcons levelled matters three minutes from time through substitute Christian Micallef.
