Security officers, bouncers regulations
The Justice Ministry is making an internal evaluation of the necessary legislative amendments to regulate the activities of security officers and bouncers employed in bars and night-clubs.
The information was given by Justice Minister Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici in reply to a parliamentary question by Leo Brincat (MLP).
He said the necessary amendments, which should stipulate both the duties and the training and working permits they would require, would be published and come into effect in 2009.

Finally... wakey wakey. What studies were made? Any drafts available? Can this be made available to the thousands who frequent such locations? What enforcement will there be and will it be equal for everybody?
