Over 100 delegates for Ford Malta conference

General managers and after-sales executives from over 30 Ford Motor Company markets in Europe, the Middle East and North Africa are in Malta for their annual conference which end tomorrow at Hilton Malta.

Over 100 delegates from Ford of Europe's core European Direct Markets (EDM) subsidiary are attending the meeting which was opened by the main speaker, Peter Fleet, regional director, European sales operations for Ford of Europe. Mr Fleet is responsible for the Ford national sales operations in Ireland, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Greece and the developing markets within the Ford EDM organisation.

This is the first time that this group of executives within Ford of Europe are holding their annual meeting in Malta.

The main purpose of the conference is to enable the delegates to discuss performance, new product, the general direction of the company and next year's sales and marketing plans. They are also attending celebrations marking the 80th anniversary of the local Ford franchise, Gasan Enterprises Ltd.
