Muscat attends more meetings in Libya
Opposition leader Joseph Muscat, currently on a visit to Libya, yesterday attended meetings in the Libyan Congress and followed a presentation given to Libyan and Italian personalities, the Labour Party said.
Those present included former Italian political heavyweights Lamberto Dini and Giulio Andreotti.The Libyan side included Abdul Ati El Obeidi, Mohammed Siala and Mohammed Shalgam all serving or former officials in the Libyan government.
The MLP said the Maltese delegation discussed illegal immigration and energy prices.
Dr Muscat and former Serbian president Ivan Lilich were later the guests of honour for an activity attended by thediplomatic corps, including Maltese Ambassador Joseph Cassar.
Dr Muscat also toured the Corinthia Bab Africa Hotel in the heart of Tripoli and was briefed about new projects in Libya in which the Corinthia Group is involved.

Always keep in mind that in the 80 s the oppostion used to go abroad also - to tell the other countries not to co operate with us . This is the political maturity and this is the good will of this new leader .
well done joseph and we can say that you are working in the countries interest even if it is being said from a non labourite .

Well done Joseph for the work you are doing for Malta and the Maltese in Libya - especially regarding oil prices and illegal immigration.
Libya is cooperating with the MLP leader much more than with the Nat officials. They are taking him more seriously as they realise that he is the real leader of the Maltese.
Perhaps Gonzipn should call it a day since he cannot keep the pre-electoral promises and intends to turn them into a poor lot. Resignation would make gonzipn avoid all the anger the Maltese are building up against his government.
So how about it, Lawrence?
