Forty teams await UEFA Cup group stage draw
The five seeded pots have been decided for today's UEFA Cup draw, with Milan, Ajax, Sevilla and Tottenham Hotspur among the big names waiting to discover their fate in the 40-team group stage.
One team from each pot will be allocated to each of the eight groups during the draw, which will take place at UEFA headquarters in Nyon at noon today.
The 40 teams will form eight groups of five, with each side playing two home and two away matches.
Apart from Tottenham Hotspur, Portsmouth, Manchester City and Aston Villa are the other teams representing England in the draw while Italy has three representatives in Milan, Udinese and Sampdoria.
Germany is the most represented country with five team, namely Hamburg, Schalke 04, Hertha Berlin, Stuttgart and Wolfsburg.
Clubs from the same country will not be drawn in the same group.
Pot 1: Milan (Italy); Sevilla (Spain); Valencia (Spain); Benfica (Portugal); Schalke (Germany), CSKA Moscow (Russia); Tottenham (England); Hamburg (Germany).
Pot 2: Stuttgart (Germany); Ajax (Holland); Olympiakos (Greece); Deportivo (Spain); Club Brugge (Belgium); Spartak Moscow (Russia); PSG (France); Heerenveen (Holland).
Pot 3: Rosenborg (Norway); Udinese (Italy); Feyenoord (Holland); Braga (Portugal); Slavia Prague (Czech Republic); Manchester City (England); Galatasaray (Turkey); Sampdoria (Italy).
Pot 4: Hertha Berlin (Germany); Partizan Belgrade (Serbia); Nancy (France); Portsmouth (England); Aston Villa (England); Racing Santander (Spain); FC Copenhagen (Denmark); Dinamo Zagreb (Croatia).
Pot 5: St Etienne (France); Wolfsburg (Germany); Standard Liege (Belgium); Twente Enschede (Holland); Nec Nijmegen (Holland); M. Kharkiv (Ukraine); Lech Poznan (Poland); Zilina (Slovakia).
