Marking feast of patron saint

St Edward's College will be holding a sports festival to celebrate St Edward's Day on Monday.

Members of staff and pupils together with a good number of old boys will take part in the festival, which will be held at the college.

St Edward's Day coincides with the feast of St Edward and the event offers an excellent opportunity for Old Edwardians to go back to the college and rekindle those treasured memories and actively integrate in college life today by meeting present pupils, a college spokesman said. St Edward's College has always encouraged participation by Old Edwardians in such events.

All Old Edwardians are invited to attend Holy Mass, which will be celebrated at 10 a.m. This will be followed by the sports festival at 11 a.m. The festival will mainly consist of games between Old Edwardians and the pupils in various disciplines.
